Man, what a drag. Anna and I were all set for a good time of Snail Sauce, hot dogs, cigars, racing, and beer at The Yard Cigar Bar but the race was rain delayed. So we did all the aforementioned stuff, except watch racing.
The race is this afternoon, let’s hope they don’t get any more rain in Florida.
Update: The race on Monday was good. Hamlin won the race, and Newman got into a wicked wreck. He’s OK now though.
Downtown Chandler does it up right. Anna and I hit up the cajun festival with Craig and Gina. We ate some crawdads from Angry Crab, and hit up both the Perch and QuartHaus.
20th anniversary of the Strong Beer Fest this time around. Anna and I started the day with some Waffle House and boozy Rockstars.
We did it right. Managed to take advantage of VIP tickets by getting fanny packs full of snacks, and making sure to eat a few hotdogs before leaving.
After the festival, we bought ourselves presents at the pawn shop. Then we fit in a trip to the TT Roadhouse after party.
Best time of the year. PUPPY BOWL! I know some of you are watching football, so you do you. Well be at The Yard Cigar Bar enjoying some Snail Sauce ™.

Having fun today checking out the Thieves Market in the parking lot of Big Surf. Anna ran with it and invited a bunch of friends. Glad Craig showed up, felt outnumbered by women and children. It’s basically an Anna day, I’m just going with the flow.
After the market, we hit up Social Hall & 414 bar. Things got a little fuzzy after that, maybe Joe’s Crab Shack before heading home? Yeah, that sounds right. Loves me some of those Great Balls.

Stopped by Todd’s Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/uuddgames/hunters-of-Avalon) party at Sidebar after work. Had a couple delicious cocktails, but left before things got weird. Anna and I don’t party in the avenues.
Afterwards, we ended up at The Yard Cigar Bar. Just another Friday. ?

Went out to happy hour in Gilbert with work buddies today. It was fun. Turns out I already know one of the bartenders at the first place we went, Culinary Dropout. Derrick; he used to work at Queens Pizza in Mesa. He has a glorious beard too.
After, we checked out Level 1 Arcade Bar. These guys definitely put the money in to do it right. Plenty of pinball combined with classic arcade games. Plus it has a full bar and kitchen. Thank you Josh for scouting the place out first.

Started out this weekend watching the Beer Olympics at The Yard Cigar Bar earlier in the day. Afterwards, we hit up Koreatown restaurant. I was able to introduce Anna to the Hot Stone. Good stuff.
Yup, it’s the overused and obligatory first post. Mostly I want to see how it renders on this theme. We’ll see.
