Since beer fest was canceled last year, the AZ Brew Guild did a covid-friendly version at Old Ellsworth Brewery.
Man, what a drag. Anna and I were all set for a good time of Snail Sauce, hot dogs, cigars, racing, and beer at The Yard Cigar Bar but the race was rain delayed. So we did all the aforementioned stuff, except watch racing.
The race is this afternoon, let’s hope they don’t get any more rain in Florida.
Update: The race on Monday was good. Hamlin won the race, and Newman got into a wicked wreck. He’s OK now though.
20th anniversary of the Strong Beer Fest this time around. Anna and I started the day with some Waffle House and boozy Rockstars.
We did it right. Managed to take advantage of VIP tickets by getting fanny packs full of snacks, and making sure to eat a few hotdogs before leaving.
After the festival, we bought ourselves presents at the pawn shop. Then we fit in a trip to the TT Roadhouse after party.
