Been out of the office for over a year. I’ve had the corona virus, as well as the J&J vaccine. Decided it was time to head back in. Nobody here though, not yet anyway.

Saving Strong Beer Fest
Since beer fest was canceled last year, the AZ Brew Guild did a covid-friendly version at Old Ellsworth Brewery.
Zealot Wrestling
Anna and I made it a point to hit up Zealot Wrestling yesterday. I’ve never been before. Compared to Party Hard Wrestling, there seemed to be a lot less people too. Plus, no alcohol. Still it was a ton of fun, was able to see American Kaiju, Warhorse, and EJ Sparks in action.
Dragonforce!
Had fun, got drunk, and blasted out my eardrums. These guys put on one hell of a show at Club Red this past Thursday.
Daytona 500 2020
Man, what a drag. Anna and I were all set for a good time of Snail Sauce, hot dogs, cigars, racing, and beer at The Yard Cigar Bar but the race was rain delayed. So we did all the aforementioned stuff, except watch racing.
The race is this afternoon, let’s hope they don’t get any more rain in Florida.
Update: The race on Monday was good. Hamlin won the race, and Newman got into a wicked wreck. He’s OK now though.
Southwest Cajun Fest 2020
Downtown Chandler does it up right. Anna and I hit up the cajun festival with Craig and Gina. We ate some crawdads from Angry Crab, and hit up both the Perch and QuartHaus.
Strong Beer Festival 2020
20th anniversary of the Strong Beer Fest this time around. Anna and I started the day with some Waffle House and boozy Rockstars.

We did it right. Managed to take advantage of VIP tickets by getting fanny packs full of snacks, and making sure to eat a few hotdogs before leaving.
After the festival, we bought ourselves presents at the pawn shop. Then we fit in a trip to the TT Roadhouse after party.

Thieves Market Day
Having fun today checking out the Thieves Market in the parking lot of Big Surf. Anna ran with it and invited a bunch of friends. Glad Craig showed up, felt outnumbered by women and children. It’s basically an Anna day, I’m just going with the flow.

Stopped by Todd’s Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/uuddgames/hunters-of-Avalon) party at Sidebar after work. Had a couple delicious cocktails, but left before things got weird. Anna and I don’t party in the avenues.
